Katie, a freelance video editor in desperate need of work, receives a high-paying offer from an anonymous employer to edit a mysterious and strange video. Experiencing a lack of money and risking being evicted, Katie gladly agrees to this job. The video shows the torture and even the killing of people on camera – undoubtedly, this is just a carefully staged fiction. But when the first job leads to even more lucrative work and more frighteningly realistic crime films, Katie’s life begins to crumble.
