As long as they are devoting less attention to the main plot to tell the backstory of each character, this will continue to stimulate their development as a team and as individuals. Which I think is a great way to start. While this is happening, I don’t even notice how little progress the main plot is making. The series is full of comedic moments, but you can also feel yourself getting attached to the characters.
I definitely recommend this show and can’t wait to see where it leads. I hope it convinces you to watch it. I don’t think you will be disappointed at all. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest premieres on television and streaming this month.
