But it’s a spy thriller, just as “Love Actually” was a political movie. Yes, “Los Angeles” was about a prime minister, but it was a love story. Black Pigeons was a romantic/buddy comedy with a spy theme for me, which calmed me down a bit. I love a good spy show and this was not it. It was a pretty good romantic/buddy comedy, so I recommend checking it out. Kieran Knightley and Ben Whishaw have great chemistry as partners in crime. There are good comedic turns from the various killers. The bloodshed is a Tarantino thing, it’s fun but not exciting. Overall, great, fun acting.
