I waited 4 episodes to really sink into this one for a long time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift that we have been given by the many A-list actors who participated in the creation of this work, which, by the way, is enjoyable and well-received by many, despite the mixed reviews. Many viewers have been told from a similar angle, but this view is still fascinating because you are solving a more confusing but finely-torn plot with female leads, each of whom convincingly captures our attention whenever they appear. Halfway through, we can’t tell if that sense of urgency as we discover more and more of what’s going on will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they were able to bring it to the screen, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, mainly because of the series’ solid foundation.
